Within Power to Pursue, there's a shared understanding that women of all ages require a nurturing environment to learn, grow, and celebrate themselves.
Our goal with P2P Teens is to create and maintain safe spaces where young women can engage in open discussions about topics of direct importance to them. We’re doing this in collaboration with organizations who serve and program teen initiatives. Join us and learn what’s next!

P2P's program director, Tara Litmer, lead an aerial yoga session (accessible for all levels) and Heather Gerker guided us through a collaborative conversation to help us better understand what we can build with our teens, for our teens.
It was a great event, and so good to hear from the next generation of leaders!
We hosted our Teens Vision Boarding Workshop on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at MadTree in Oakley.
Vision boarding is a perfect way to set the stage for healthy manifesting at a young age. Creativity ran wild in this workshop! We provided all of the necessary supplies for participants to lay out their year, their vision, and their goals. All supplies/materials were included in the cost, but all were welcomed to bring any embellishments that align with your vision and enhance your board. Light bites were available throughout the event.
We put on this event seeking to help broaden the scope of empowerment, encompassing young women and girls, because waiting until you're an adult to access safe communities that support growth and healing cannot be the norm.
This groundbreaking event focused on empowering young women through education, connection, and creativity.
We proudly partnered with MDC Design, who lead curriculum development for our young people, and we are grateful for our venue sponsor, UC's 1819 Innovation Hub.
Participants engaged in age-specific small group workshops and heard from a keynote speaker with the guidance and expertise of local female professionals doing this work.
We were fortunate to have the following workshop presenters:
